Artist Vaughan Nelson looks lovingly at the natural and artistic worlds around him, to find his muse and reach an unspoken level of emotion and thought.  Moving around often throughout his life has allowed him to see and absorb much, which has broadened his artistic vision, and given him a love of art ranging from the Australian Aboriginals to the Art Nouveau.  Finding beauty in organic, irregular shapes and tactile, textural surfaces, Vaughan seeks to convey his vision to others without words, in the same way that nature communicates its message to him.  Vaughn creates and resides San Diego, California.
